Blake is an associate in the Firm’s Miami office and represents clients on matters involving insurance coverage and commercial litigation disputes. He is an experienced litigator who has handled all aspects of the litigation process, from evidentiary hearings and motion practice to discovery and depositions, as well as assisting with trial preparation. While pursuing his law degree, Blake participated in the University of Florida Levin College of Law’s Alternative Spring Break Program where he spent a week drafting wills and advance directives to those in need.
Ongoing representation of national marine dealer in state court actions and alternative dispute resolution proceedings involving claims for fraud, breach of contract, misrepresentation, unjust enrichment, promissory estoppel, and various statutory claims.
Ongoing representation of a national homeowner insurance carrier in state and federal court actions involving claims for breach of contract, declaratory relief, and appraisal.
Defended insurance carriers and their insureds as well as self-insured companies in actions alleging negligence, vicarious liability, premises liability, wrongful termination, and discrimination.
Obtained favorable final compensation order on behalf of major airline company in which the judge of compensation claims found that no further treatment is medically necessary.
Secured a dismissal with prejudice on behalf of Fortune 500 manufacturing and distribution company and its insured driver in which the plaintiff was alleging damages in the low seven figures.
