Danny is a partner in the firm’s Miami office, where he has worked since 2018. Danny focuses his practice on general commercial litigation, insurance coverage issues, fraud disputes, and liability defense in both federal and state courts. Danny has over ten years of experience representing both insurance carriers and individuals in first- and third-party insurance disputes. Currently, Danny advises insurance carriers in all aspects of pre-suit claim investigations and coverage evaluations such as drafting detailed coverage opinions and claim determination letters. Danny also litigates a wide variety of complex civil and commercial litigation matters throughout Florida including actions involving breach of contract, declaratory relief, bad faith, fraud, negligence, and strict liability. Additionally, Danny is experienced in alternative dispute resolution methods handling hundreds of mediations, appraisals, and arbitrations throughout his career. Danny is an active member in the Trial PAC of the National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms. Danny is fluent in English and Spanish.
Ongoing representation of a national homeowner insurance carrier in federal and state court actions (circuit, county, and small claims) involving breach of contract, bad faith, negligence, petitions for declaratory relief, petitions for appraisal, and fraud.
Ongoing representation of a national commercial general liability carrier in federal and state court actions (circuit, county, and small claims) involving negligence, property damage, business income disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, and bad faith.
Defended at-fault drivers and insurance carriers in first- and third-party actions alleging negligence, premises liability, and loss of consortium.
Defended a prominent supermarket chain against claims for injuries resulting from alleged negligence in maintaining their premises.
Represented a homeowner in an action for trespass against a tortfeasor who irreparably damaged trees on the property. Obtained a monetary judgment against the defendant after a two-day jury trial.
Represented plaintiffs in actions brought in federal court against employers regarding violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and employment discrimination resulting in favorable settlements for the plaintiffs.
Represented landlords in eviction actions brought in state court against tenants who failed to comply with the terms of their lease agreements resulting in final judgments for possession of premises and writs of possession.
Represented clients in state and federal court actions involving Civil RICO and housing discrimination.
Represented homeowners in actions for breach of contract against insurance carriers for failure to properly indemnify their insureds in connection with sudden and accidental losses to their dwelling and/or personal property.
